New computers from Lenovo using Intel hardware

Lenovo has pulled the wraps off a couple new computers today including the C200 all-in-one and the S10-3s netbook. The new machines are aimed at general computer users looking for compact devices that don’t take up lots of space.

The new S10-3s netbook is the latest in the S10 range and has a svelte 16mm thick profile and a lightweight design. Lenovo says that the machine will be offered in the U.S. for around $379.99. The machine packs in an Intel N470 processor, a 10.1-inch LED backlit LCD, a 320GB HDD, and Dolby Headphone technology.

The 10-inch netbook has a chiclet keyboard with keys that are 98% full-size. Other features include Lenovo Maplife that can detect your location from a Wi-Fi connection, an Active Protection system that cushions the HDD form shock, and three USB ports. The netbook supports 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and has a 1.3-megapixel webcam built-in. Bluetooth is optional on the machine as is WWAN from various providers. OS options include Windows 7 Home Basic, Starter, and Windows XP.

The Lenovo C200 AIO machine has an 18.5-inch 1366 x 768 resolution LCD with optional single touch technology. It can be ordered with the Intel Atom D510 or D410 processors and runs Windows 7 Home Premium. Graphics for the machine are via an optional NVIDIA ION GPU with 256MB of RAM and standard graphics are via Intel GMA3150.

The AIO can be fitted with up to 4GB of RAM and it has a 0.3-megapixel webcam, a memory card reader, adjustable stand, optional Bluetooth mouse and keyboard, and up to 500GB of storage. An optical drive is built-in along with a pair of 3W speakers. The machine starts at $379.99.

Shoppers looking for full notebooks can check out the Lenovo ThinkPads that were unveiled back in February.
