Bill Gates didn't just leave -- he crashed
Bill Gates made an appearance on the Daily Show with Jon
Stewart, resulting in one of the more entertaining interviews with the
Microsoft chairman in recent memory. Obviously, Gates was there to promote the
launch of Windows Vista, and Stewart was there to do his usual duty of making
things funny. View the Daily Show segment
on YouTube.
At the end of the segment, Bill Gates shook Jon Stewart’s
hand and promptly walked off the stage – something that’s rather unusual for
talk show guests. Normally, the guests stay seated until the commercial break,
but Gates took off immediately (presumably in a hurry to catch a flight to
Europe for his Vista world tour). This surprised Stewart, who decided to make
fun of the incident at his next day’s show. See the follow-up Daily
Show clip.
Now that’s comedy, folks.
