HP Omen is a monster of a laptop with extreme power to match.

The HP Omen X is a highly versatile laptop given the ease at which you can upgrade some of its parts. There is a conveniently crafted single panel access to the HDDs, SSDs, and RAM, which facilitates quick change outs and upgrading.  All you need is a Philips screwdriver and you to get things rolling.

This laptop sadly not have the new 8th generation Intel Core processor.  However, there is plenty of power in Intel’s 7th generation overclockable Core i7-7820HK found in the top Omen X laptop model. The base model runs Core i7-7700HQ processor.

Oxen X will come with a GTX 1070 with a 1080p display, 16GB of RAM, and a 256 GB SSD / 1TB HDD for $1,999. The top model will cost around $3699 and have a GTX 1080 with 4K display, 32GB of RAM, and 2 x 1TB of SSD storage / 1TB HDD.

Mechanical keyboards are a must have for any PC power user and Oxen delivers with a fully functional mechanical keyboard which produces 2.5mm of key travel. The keys have tiny RGB LED lights underneath that can be programmed with different lighting animations.

Connectivity includes three regular USB ports, two USB-C Thunderbolt ports, a HDMI port with HDR support, mini DisplayPort, Ethernet, and a card reader slot.
