 The Dog-e-Minder device
A new pet reminder system for forgetful dog owners
The
Dog-e-Minder company today launched the Dog-e-Minder three-button
device that makes it easier for dog owners to keep track of several
important everyday tasks.
Once attached to a dog's collar,
there are only three buttons that offer several different basic
functions. The device is able to easily track when a dog was
last walked, fed and received medication -- so the owner no longer
has to keep mental track of the activities. It seems like
it's designed for owners who are extremely busy, or have someone else
walk their dog for them.
"My family and I are big-time
dog people," said Yair Shalev, Dog-e-Minder creator, in a press
statement. "We love our dogs, but we're also really busy,
all of the time. Sometimes we all need a little help in making
sure things stay on track. The Dog-e-Minder is the perfect
assistant and reminder 'tool' to make sure our four-legged family
members, who rely on us the most, are being taken care of- no
questions asked."
The button with a fire hydrant is a
reminder for when the dog was last walked, the RX symbol stores
medication information and the dog bone tracks feeding information.
The device is "lightweight, waterproof and durable," in
case the wearer gets a bit muddy.
I'm not sure of the actual
demand of such a product, but it's definitely a curious little
device.
The Dog-e-Minder is available now for $19.95 in
blue, black, pink and red. In addition, the company is now
offering a buy one
get one free promotion for interested customers.
