So let me get this straight..

Circuit City puts its HD-DVD on sale, and you interpret that to mean they're not going to carry any more? All on a second-hand account account from a site saying one anonymous "store manager" told them so?

Wow. Just wow. Store managers are one step up from sales clerks. Unless a real executive says something, this is just another BS rumor, like the Paramount one you tried to float last week.

If you were the store manager, how do you plan to sell a device that only plays movies from Universal and Paramount?

Face it. Now that most movies will be released on Blu-Ray, it's full steam ahead for Blu-Ray. Prices will drop, and we can move ahead with a single HD disc format. Isn't that what we all wanted?

Well I can't wait 'til the argument ensues here about which is better and the fanboys arrive. It's always a good read. I myself am saddened that HD-DVD lost and will probablye pick up a Blu-Ray player in the next year, but I'm more interested in a HDPC or whatever the acronym is!

So let the fighting begin :p And keep it clean!
