Clothing you say? Wait, what?

Thermaltake is a big name in the enthusiast community. First known for its cooling products and cases, the company has expanded its lineup to include a wealth of devices ranging from power supplies to headsets to water-cooling units.

We'll try to give you a quick rundown of the fresh products that Thermaltake was showing off at its suite in Las Vegas. The first new offering is the ARMOR Revo full tower case. It offers an aluminum front bezel, USB 3.0 support, top-mounted hot swap docking station, integrated liquid cooling support, tool-free 5.25-inch and 3.5-inch drive bays, support for five system fans, and a headset holder built into the side of the case.

The next new case is the Level 10 GTS mid-tower case. It offers easy swap HDD bays, internal USB 3.0 connections, the same headset holder design from the ARMOR Revo, extra large motherboard tray, removable power supply/front fan/side fan/top fan filter, and a keyboard/mouse security lock.

Thermaltake is also showing off two new power supplies: The Toughpower Grand Platinum 700W and the Toughpower XT Platinum 1275W Snow Edition. The Toughpower Grand Platinum is 80 PLUS Platinum certified, has a peak output of 800W, and a single +12V rail. The Toughpower XT Platinum Snow Edition is also 80 Plus Platinum certified, features a "24/4 @ 50C" guarantee, dual +12V rails, and eight PCI-E connectors to support 4-way Crossfire and SLI.

Other additions to the product lineup include three new water coolers (Water 2.0 Performer, Water 2.0 Pro, and Water 2.0 Extreme) and the Frio Extreme cooler for over clocking (supports CPUs up to 250W and includes a 2-in-1 fan controller with the ability to switch between VR or PWM).

But perhaps the most interesting shock to the system was the fact that Thermaltake will be unleashing a line of clothing under the Ttesports sub brand. Yes, I did just say that. The lineup includes shirts, pants, hats, and even shoes. I had to do a double take to make sure that my eyes weren't deceiving me but there were the racks of clothes staring back at me.

Ttesports director Tony Liu informed me that gamers want to look cool, and the gamers traditionally don't have a cool sense of style that attracts the ladies. The line is launching in Asia, but plans to expand into the U.S. market have not yet been solidified.

I don't think plastic moon boots appeal to the ladies, either.

I believe I saw a lady pushing a cart in downtown NY that will, shortly, look quite dashing in those.

Ugliest case ever?

That case on the right is quite possibly the ugliest case i've ever seen.

The usual Thermaltake trash

It's remarkable how consistently bad their products are. On the flip side of things, Corsair and Silverstone do a fantastic job across the board. I guess Tt fulfills the market segment for people with no taste or standards, it's the only reasonable explanation why they continue going in this direction.
