Note: Fuel efficiency depends on user's metabolic rate, and fuel capacity is equal to user's stomach capacity.

I don't even want to think about what an "emissions test" is like for that model.

Hey, that could be an additional power source. "Now with onboard methane fuel cell!"
Gives new meaning to the term "brake shoes" as well.

This may be a weird take on the cartoon, but it reminds me of this Einstein quote:
"I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones."

Did you pull that quote form Call of Duty 4, or do you just randomly know it?

Just randomly know it. Haven't played COD4 yet, and probably won't for a while.

I bet GM wishes it could get away with such an "automobile" to help keep their average fuel efficiency up to standards while having even more fuel-hogging, under-utilized SUVs.

This vehicle will have problems with Grin Pierce, definitely:
Log wheels? You have to cut the hell out of woods to keep car production going!!!
This car will never get EPA approved, I hope you know that because you won't become the multibillionaire you thought you'd turn into thanks to this thing.
And besides, I can bet all I have in my wallet now that this car will have one heck of a harsh ride!!!
And what about fire proofing? what will you do when there are no more trees in the world thanks to this, and then all those cars remain under the sun all day long till they ignite??
And how will you teach kids to calculate a logarithm, when every possible exemplification log will be hidden under the whood?
I bet you Michel Moore in combination with Grin Piss is going to release a movie called "Horizontal woods on the road: nature on the shades" because of this.
Nobody will know you or your dog when they come and get you. A real shame, you made funny comic posts for most of the part, but this is sooooo way out of place.
(PS: This is just a joke, don't take it seriously)

You can still have them do logs, just not natural logs!

The fares are actually worth the work then.

When the mandatory fleet mileage goes to 35mpg...when you couldn't afford to put gas in your more fuel efficient car. We might be left with this option. =-)

"We had to kill the planet to save our money, our precious."
GM is hard at work producing the same crappy cars they have always made. As is Ford, Chrysler, Toyota, etc. Some break down more than others. Some are more repairable than others. Etc.
But they all use a heck of a lot of gas and oil and produce so very little utility for what they consume.
Then there are the truck companies who make the car companies look like saints.
All because the same people who own the oil companies own the car companies. It is so stupid, the love of money.

I've owned my fair share of cars, from Volvo to Honda, to GM and Dodge, and I can honestly say that I've never owned a "crappy" car. Every car hs a problem or two, some maintenance to do, or quirks that I just didn't like, but I never regretted a purchase. Each car served me well for the time I owned it.
You seem to have quite a chip on your shoulder. Kill our planet? Please. We can certainly make tangible, immediate changes to our local environments, but we lack the power and technology to "kill the planet".

LOL - but not really. Its been here a long time and survived alot more than we can throw at it, including a full scale nuclear war.
We can however, over time, make it less hospitable toward mammalian life and make it very difficult for future generations.
