Phone promises an enhanced camera

Nokia has announced a new Windows Phone 8 smartphone that will be coming to the Verizon Wireless network. The Nokia Lumia 822 is an LTE device and promises a unique design, enhanced camera, world-class maps, and free music streaming.

"Bringing the Nokia Lumia 822 to Verizon Wireless allows us to expand our award winning Lumia brand to even more customers here in the United States," said Olivier Puech, President of Nokia Americas. "With the Nokia Lumia 822, first-time smartphone buyers - and those ready to switch - will get high-quality performance on both their device and Verizon Wireless' incredibly fast 4G LTE network."

The Lumia 822 features a 4.3” display and an 8MP rear camera with Carl Zeiss optics. The front camera has a resolution of 1.2 megapixels and the phone has an exchangeable shell designed to customize the color. The smartphone also supports wireless charging.

The phone is of course equipped with Nokia Drive+ turn-by-turn voice navigation solution with preloaded U.S. maps.
Pricing and availability are unknown at this time.

Just curious, what was missing? I've had WP7 for a year now and love it. So many things built-in so I don't need to jump around between apps. I'm looking forward to the WP7.8 update that gives me the new tile layouts and will definitely be looking for a good price on an unlocked 920.
