Apple is making good on its promise to
refund customers who have already purchased bumper cases for the
iPhone and to offer
free cases to iPhone 4 customers.
Taking advantage of its App Store,
Apple has launched an app that iPhone 4 users can download to order
their free case. Customers have to login with their Apple ID and can
choose from an official Apple bumper case (black) or any number of
cases from Incase, Belkin, Speck, and Griffin.
For those that have already bought a
bumper case from Apple's online store or brick and mortar retail
stores, your purchase price is being refunded automatically back to
your credit card. If you purchased with a gift card or cash, simply
bring your receipt back to the store to get your refund.
Those that purchased a bumper case from
the AT&T store will have to fill out a mail-in form to get your
purchase price refunded back to you.
