I installed the leaked Catalyst 8.7 beta for my HD4870 found here:

http://downloads.guru3d.com/ATI-Catalyst-8.7-Beta-...

...and my 3DMark Vantage GPU score went from 7500 to 8700 (performance mode). As well, my Crysis GPU bench enjoyed about a 2 fps increase (from 26.13 to 28.87 fps avg on Very High @ 1680*1050).

Review of the new HP dv5z notebook with the puma platform available here. Pretty impressive if you ask me.

The review from these guys of the 9950 was about as lightweight as it gets. Providing links to back-yard reviewers does nothing for this site.

"Game reviewers fought each other to write the most glowing coverage possible for the powerhouse Sony, MS systems. Reviewers flipped coins to see who would review the Nintendo Wii. The losers got stuck with the job." -- Andy Marken
