A coworker of mine has a case that holds two power supplies... he uses 2 1200 watt PSU's.... and he blamed not having enough power as to why its not running properly.

He has a phenom 9850 a AMD 3870 (single card), 8 GB memory, and four 1 TB drives, a blu-ray drive, and a DVD burner w lightscribe.

Where we work he plugged it in for just a bit to show me the problem he was having.... and in 5 minutes it had warmed the whole room up about 10 degrees it seemed.

What is funny, is that his PSU was faulty.... so as soon as we switched to the other PSU, it worked just fine.

and yes, he was not even using one of the PSUs. He just had it connected and it would turn on but didn't use the power anywhere.

If your computer isn't fast enough...
just throw more power at the problem...

hmmm... likely to work... can't wait till people start blowing their circuit breakers.

That's why PC World is always pushing quad Geforce 280 systems in the face of people who want to have faster internet

If they have the dollars without the sense, I have no pity.
