Crucial Ballistix = D9GMH IC's.

These will overclock very well, JetRam (while fine ram) wont overclock like these Ballistix will.

For example, you could easily hit 4-4-4-8 @ 550MHz (1100MHz DDR) with ease on a P5B Deluxe w/ 2.45Vdimm or less.

Or, you could EASILY do 5-5-5-15 @ 600MHz+ (1200MHz+ DDR) with the same P5B Deluxe Mobo w/ 2.45Vdimm or less.

Hence the popularity of Crucial Ballistix (as it is well binned D9GMH too!). Probably the best thing about Ballistix is Crucial does a very nice job binning them, meaning that nobody ends up with dud sticks. No getting lucky with Crucial Ballistix :).

I should also mention, excellent RMA service as well.

V-1 Ultra anyone?

these have been going on for awhile, I thought someone would catch it, but here:

both priced at $12.95, and S&H ~$5

they used to be around $30-$40, glad they settled down to their performance/price value.

I'm no admin but I'm sure it's not as easy as you think to provide hot deals for people DAILY . Besides, I'm sure you're not going to be buying stuff off of the deals here every day or even once a week, so if you don't like what you see, go find your daily hot deal yourself that don't include MIRs.

I dont know... I kind of agree. I think its a bad practice in the market, generally. Many times there are purposely ambiguous requirements to fulfill the MIR, and lengthy response times. I have, more than once, run into a MIR situation where I sent in all requirements, heard nothing for 3 months, only to call in and find out that some extra bar code was required (not mentioned in initial MIR form AT ALL! - I rechecked) and send it in. And I was supposed to be grateful that they extended the rebate period for me.

I'm guessing many people just forget that they are owed money (especially small MIRs) while companies take advantage of long turn-around times and the aforementioned sneaky tactics.
