What a suprise

I see Hi Tech Legion is up there again. Guess what they did another review with no comparisons and give it an Editors Choice Award lmao

Thats three reviews in a row they have done this. Makes me want to start a hardware review site and do the same thing lol. But seriously who do they think they are grabbing with reviews like that? Why would AMD even send them something with a garbage review like that. Come on my 16 year old son could do better. Nowadays the net is plastered with crappy sites this being at the top of the list. I am just hopeful that readers are smart enough to see through it and stay clear of it. Richard please don't post their garbage its embarrassing seeing them on DT they are not worthy.

As for the CPU review from other sites, not a bad CPU if you don't have something close to it already. It would be nice to see some faster Quads but oh well one can only hope lol.

A combination of a manufacturer desearate for positive coverage and a pathetic review site who would step over their own mother for free review hardware. The results are clear!

Patriot Torqx came out over a year ago
5870 over nine months ago

Why do people review products that have already been covered to death.

Because the drivers for something like the 5870 are still maturing and improving performance.

You have to really ask yourself why dont most sites return to retest/review products once they have gone through some maturing. The product isn't necessarily like it was the day it was launched.

Price/performance

AMD continues to lead where it has always been strongest: price/performance. Socket longevity is also a plus for builders who want to upgrade their systems incrementally.

ADM?!?!?!

Trolling much?
AMD is offering a better alternative in the low and medium range market. Especially if you factor in total system cost. And it's keeping Intel honest in the process.

I don't know anyone else who offers a hexa core CPU for 200$.
That CPU will be a beast at doing intensive tasks like encoding video.

Less fanboy'ing and more informed comments please.
