Steelseries

Stay the heck away from steelseries products. I'm still waiting for a proper working 64-bit driver for as long as I could remember.

I feel ya

Just got a G9x from Logitech, 64-bit W7 drivers(Setpoint software). But since I installed it my volume icon in the taskbar seems to have disappeared and programs mute each other depending on which program made the last sound...and the option in a dropdown menu to turn the volume icon back on in the taskbar grayed out.

I love Logitech and at one point, practically every one of my peripherals was a Logitech product...but I've slowly been migrating toward 'other' products as my Logitech accessories flake out. My G15 died TWICE (warrantied both times, but I got tired of sending it in and just sold the 2nd replacement.)

I also just feel their mice don't track well, especially their wireless mice. I've been rocking a OCZ Equalizer for almost two years, and it's a cheap shitty mouse in comparison to most of Logitech's lineup, but I feel it tracks more accurately than any of them. It is, however, wired.

I can't tell you how many Logitech speaker systems I've been through, so I won't even go their. The last system I had was a top of the line THX 5.1 system with wireless speakers. Both wireless speakers fried in a year, and when I called Logitech about warranty, they were going to UPGRADE me for FREE to the new versions. I was ecstatic up until I realized the new version of that system didn't have wireless rear channel speakers, which is the only reason I had it in the first place. They no longer could give me a replacement of my existing product. I was just pissed.

My mediacenter has a DiNovo Edge (amazing keyboard) but the trackpad left click button failed (it took a ton of pressure to get it to respond) last October and I sent it in for warranty. The replacement (which wasn't a refurb, brand new, as it should be for a $200 product) however now has the same problem. It isn't as bad yet, but takes more pressure than normal and I miss double clicks on occasion. I'm sure it'll need to be RMA'd in a few months.

Anybody else have this trend?

No.

The main conference room featured the high end 5.1 THX speaker set, which have now been moved three times, room to room, dropped, paint marks, the lot... still working. At home i have the following

4.1 for the spare room
5.1 for the bedroom
2.1 for the other spare room
2.1 in the back of my G'f's boot
2 x Logitech wireless keyboards
? x Logitech including diNovo in work
1 x G5 gaming mouse next to me
1 x G5 at home
8 x other cheap logitech mice

and the ONLY product that's failed in eight years is an older Wireless mouse that freaked out but then worked when tried on another pc.

Bad luck Samus, bad luck :(

ROFL! THX doesn't equal high end at all.

Damn Beck...

I can already hear it...Beck saying "...honestly would you want something that sounds like a desease?"

Poor thing that Steelseries Xai mouse; all from sheer ignorance of the reporter at hand not realizing other languages do sound different when you speak them and don't know them :(

Errors.

RaidMax Skyline link points to a NZXT USB expansion board. Correct link is: http://www.ocia.net/reviews/raidmaxskyline/page1.s...

The next link after that points to a photo, not a review.

Wrong link

The Thermaltake Element V link is wrong too.It links to its photo only.
Should be - http://hardwarebistro.com/index.php?option=com_sim...
