Of all PlayStation 3 exclusive games this year, none has a higher anticipation
level than Metal Gear Solid 4. In fact, Sony has created a special system

import soundtrack CD. The Limited Edition is now available for pre-order in the

Grand Theft Auto
IV on PS3 to Have Home Integration
Earning Achievements on Xbox 360 games is a big part of Microsoft’s hook into
hardcore gamers. In fact, Achievements can be a selling point that would push a
gamer to purchase the Xbox 360 version over a PlayStation 3 equivalent. That
could soon change, however, as the latest issue of PSW states that Grand Theft Auto IV will feature integration
with PlayStation Home, whenever it launches. Players of GTA IV on the PS3
can unlock special items for use on a Home Avatar, or other items to decorate
one’s Home Space.
GTA IV
Achievements Leaked
Of course, Xbox 360 gamers will happily continue to rack up as many of the
1,000 points that come packed with the retail release of Grand Theft Auto IV. This list
supposedly has all the Achievements with the specific requirements on how to
earn them. Be forewarned, the list will contain spoilers, so stay away if
you’re looking to experience GTA IV fresh, stay away.
Multiplayer Mode
Cut From Prototype
Co-op has been an increasingly important part of gaming, no doubt demonstrated
by the recent releases of Army of Two and Rainbox Six Vegas 2. While
multiplayer modes can greatly add to a gamer’s experience, sometimes a
developer needs to concentrate all its efforts on the single player aspect.
Such was the case for BioShock, and such hopes to be true for Sierra and
Radical Entertainment’s Prototype. Radical’s Tim Bennison told TeamXbox
his reasoning behind the multiplayer’s cut from the game.
Gran Turismo 5

North American gamers will have to wait until next month before getting their
hands on Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, but those in Europe can download it this
instant from the PlayStation Store. The full download version will cost £24.99
or €39.99.
Actual Gran
Turismo 5 Not Due till 2009
No matter how much the upcoming release of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue will leave
racing fanatics wanting, it’ll have to do. According to comments
made by SCEA’s Chris Hinojosa-Miranda, the final GT5 is “still about a year
away.”
