Rather a disappointing review - the Toxic series main claim to fame is the cooler and normally quieter operation of the card. This review focused primarily on performance in gaming, which while important to many, was not relevant to the focus of the Toxic. Also, the gaming tests were only done at 1280x1024, hardly a resolution to challenge cards of this nature, and therefore not an adequate test to illustrate performance differences, a resolution of 1920x1200 would have been more appropriate.

I'll guess You've read the Pallit Super Sonic article too then. Looks like a sweet buy to me.

Actually I am waiting for local availability of the 1GB 4870 cards, if I like the price then I will buy, although I am in no hurry.

I keep searching for new SSD reviews, but I guess I'll just have to be patient.

I keep looking for 4 GB memory reviews instead all I see is 2x2. $190 for 2x4GB on newegg and no one can be bothered to review them?
